The Japanese manufacturer, Kohjinsha, unveiled SC-Series and SX-Series Notebook. The new SC series is equipped with 7-Inch LCD Touch Screen in 1,024×600 resolutions, which in addition to a 1.33GHz Intel Atom processor has an ExpressCard/34 slot and GPS. The other specs includes : 1 GB RAM, 60 GB Hard Drive, Wifi, Ethernet, bluetooth, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, SD/MMC and Memory Stick, USB2.0 x 2, VGA out. The battery life of SC - series notebook is 3.2 hours with standard battery and 6.4 hours with extended batery. The dimension of this 820g notebook is 189mm X 155mm X 25/33mm
Comprising the Vista-based SC series are the SC3KP06A, SC3KP06F, SC3KP06GA, SC3WP06A, SC3WP06F, and SC3WP06GA, which vary in configuration (only the highest models have GPS and Bluetooth) and range in price from $833 to $1018.
