Sony has announced at the Leipzig Games Convention that it is launching PSP-3000, a revamped version of its PSP handheld console. The new model will feature better hardware features over the current PSP slim and Lite. The model would follow the Nintendo DS and feature a built-in microphone, an even brighter LCD screen than currently and Skype support. Sony has unveiled its own keyboard offering for its PlayStation 3 controller allowing gamers to more easily type in information. The wireless keypad fits the standard PlayStation 3 controller and allows gamers to type far quicker than using the rather pathetic on-screen keyboard as they have been forced to do since the dawn of time. Microsoft will launch a new Xbox controller with an improved d-pad in the UK and Europe market later this year. The new limited-edition green wireless controller offers enhancements to d-Pad functionality, which will add to the experience of playing games where the d-Pad is the primary control mechanism. Voigtländer, well-known brand of Germany photo history, has announced a new Virtus XM 1060 digital cameras for Europe. The new Virtus XM 1060 is a 10.1 megapixel digital camera. It has large 2.8 inch full color display. It has the looks of the everyday digital compact camera, but the 6x optical zoom lens sets it apart from the masses.
