EMC Launched 2nd Generation Enterprise Flash Drives - Available in 200 GB and 400 GB Capacity

EMC has launches its second-generation Enterprise Flash drives in two massive storage capacities. Available in 200 GB and 400 GB, the new larger capacity Enterprise Flash drives are expected to launch for EMC CLARiiON midrange storage systems and EMC Celerra unified storage systems by the end of this year. The flash drives are specifically made for EMC Symmetrix DMX-4 storage systems and are backed by EMC’s testing and qualification processes. In addition to interlocked storage array cache functionality, Enterprise Flash drives have their wear-leveling algorithms to enable more efficient and cost-effective use of flash drive capacities and even to optimize performance. These drives are well suited for applications that demand consistence, ultra-fast performance, maximum utilization and the highest levels of reliability.

Samsung launches the 13.4-inch Q320 and the 15.6-inch R522 laptops

Samsung has announced the launch of two new 16:9 HD notebooks, the 13.4-inch Q320 and the 15.6-inch R522. Both models are due to be available in April. The two laptops offer decent battery life with a 6- and 12-cell long-life batteries available with the Q320 claiming 4.6 hours and the R522 offering 5 hours. Both laptops offer Intel Centrino 2 processors and come with Windows Vista Home Premium while those 16:9 displays are good for widescreen movies as well as Vista gadgets.
