Hitachi, debuts next generation Blu-ray Disc Hybrid Camcorder with the ability to record onto the next generation HD format, Blu-ray. The DZ-BD10HA from Hitachi’s Consumer Group contains several new features and improvements. A newly developed 7 mega pixel CMOS image sensor, which captures rich and vibrant videos and stills in FullHD (1920 x 1080) High Definition. The Hitachi model DZ-BD10HA model Blu-ray Hybrid with built-in 30GB hard disk drive (HDD) is priced at a Manufacturers Advertised Price (MAP) of $999. Toshiba has launched a portable and very affordable SD based HD camcorder, Camileo H10, in its Camileo range. The new Camileo H10 features a 10-megapixel CCD image sensor. Weighing in just at 340 grams, the new toshiba camcorder Camileo H10 can also operate as a digital still camera. With a palm-friendly design, the H10 is an SD card based high-definition digital video camera with 5x optical and 4x digital zoom, which is able to shoot footage at a resolution of 1280 x 720p. Canon introduces two new HD digital camcorders in the market, iVIS HF11 and the iVIS HG21. The new Canon iVIS HF11 is an HD camcorder with 32GB of built-in memory, an SD / SDHC card slot, Full HD recording capabilities using the polarizing AVCHD format and sports a 12x optical zoom. The other iVIS HG21 is quite similar to JVC’s Everio GZ-HD40. It features 120GB internal HDD, 2.7-inch flip-out LCD. Rest of the specifications are same to the iVIS HF11. Expect both the iVIS HF11 and iVIS HG21 HD out next month in Japan for about $1,317.
