Microsoft will launch a new Xbox controller with an improved d-pad in the UK and Europe market later this year. The new limited-edition green wireless controller offers enhancements to d-Pad functionality, which will add to the experience of playing games where the d-Pad is the primary control mechanism. The new pad, which reports claim will launch on 24 October, will be optimised for Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer game rather than be an update for everyone.
