Tag Heuer, high-end watch maker brand, has come up with a mobile phone, TAG Heuer Meriidist - “time in your hand”. The phone has been Swiss engineered and hand assembled from 430 components. It’s constructed from corrosion-resistant, watch making 316L steel. The dual displays have been crafted from scratch-resistance 60.5 carats sapphire crystal. This is by far one of the most elegant and classy looking mobile phones. The design has been inspired from the Microsplit and Monaco products. It features a Bi-directional hour display dedicated to time with Chronograph measuring the 1/100th of a second. It even features a Lap-timer function, Perpetual calendar, Countdown, World clock and Alarm. Meridiist aims at being the pocket watch of the 21st century. The Meriidist is a very user friendly phone with a simple user interface having only 5 entries in the start up menu, Mechanical Sliding Camera Shutter, Unique Secondary Top Screen to address time and incoming calls. It also comes with an all in one USB plug that helps to recharge from mains, computer and exchange data. It has a 28-day standby time and 7 hours of talktime.
