Optoma’s Pico - First Handheld Projector - The Small Wonder

Optoma announced the release of their first handheld projector called as the Pico. The Pico projector weighs just 4-ounce and it will be available in limited distribution in Europe and Asia later this year. Everywhere else will witness the phenomena sometime next year.
Basically, it is meant to magnify images from sources like digital cameras, mobile phones, iPods and other gizmos.
The Pico Projector can display pictures, videos or any content from a mobile media player or smart phone. Optoma’s Pico breaks free from the limitations of the 2 or 3 inch displays found on today’s mobile devices.
Based on DLP’s Pico chipset, the simply titled Optoma Pico Projector is an ultraportable device capable of projecting an image up to 100 time larger that source devices like iPods, smart phones, and digital cameras.
