Samsung officially announced the SGH-L870 Smartphone. As expected it runs on the latest Symbian 9.3 and 3rd Edition of the S60 interface with Feature Pack 2. The Samsung SGH-L870 is 13.5mm thick slider phone. It is tri-band GSM with single band UMTS/HSDPA 3.6Mbps support. Other specs includes 3 megapixel camera, FM radio, Stereo Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. It has 260K color QVGA 240×320px display. The internal memory of  Samsung L870 is 100MB of memory plus microSD slot.

The most fascinating feature available in the Samsung L870 is the Safari Internet browser. Samsung will load SGH-L870 with a applications like task manager, PIM homescreen plug-in, and business card recognition function.

Samsung L870 should be launched next month on June 17th in Singapore and around august it will be launched in European market.
