The device runs a new version of the BlackBerry OS, 4.6.The Bold 9000 features a HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) resolution display,which will most likely improve usability of many of the BlackBerry applications. It is not a touchscreen phone.

RIM packed in 1 GB of internal memory into the Bold 9000, as well as a microSD card slot for up to 16 GB of extra memory. Connectivity wise, the BlackBerry Bold contains tri-band HSDPA and quad-band EDGE, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth and GPS.

There is  2 megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom, improved QWERTY keyboard and a 3.5mm headphone jack.It uses 624MHz StrongARM processor(the fastest one in a handset) with full MMX.

It will include HSDPA and EV-DO versions,much as  480 x 320 display 625MHz CPU, 1GB internal flash memory 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 (with A2Dp), GPS, MicroSDHC 480 x 320 video recording,etc.

The new Bold will be priced at around $300-$400.
